The President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, and the Vice President for Students Affairs, Dr. Karwan F. Sami, received in audience a delegation from the Independent Administration of Zakho at the Presidency building on Tuesday.

The delegation consisted of Mr. Hezha M. Tawfiq, Deputy Director of the Independent Administration of Zakho, Mr. Younis Mohammed, Director of Zakho Municipality, Engr. Jagarkhwin Tahir, Investment Director, and Engr. Nawzad Abas, Director of Construction and Planning.

The two parties held a meeting during which they discussed the university's projects that are suspended and under implementation, and developed plans and strategies to implement those projects by taking the necessary measures, in addition to the possibility of establishing other new projects that would serve the community and education.

Moreover, visits were paid to the sites of the suspended projects and infrastructure, and the delegation expressed its readiness to support the university and that it would start implementing the projects at the earliest opportunity.
